- Free adult education classes for people age 17 and older: English as a Second Language (ESL), adult basic education (literacy), GED high school equivalency preparation (reading and writing, social studies, math and science), career readiness, and a weekly computer class. Classes are held at the Pikes Peak United Way Family Success Center, 1520 Verde Drive. To enroll, submit Harrison D2's online sign-up form (available in English and Spanish), then attend orientation and placement testing. Orientations are held in August and December, with more scheduled during the semester when class space is available. ESL and GED students attend the same time slot two days a week.
